Go to paper space and into your viewport. This is the trick I use inside of Cadworx when using paper space/model space.īe careful when doing this, you might want to try it on a couple of practice files.Ĭopy window all of the lines from 0,0 to 0,0. I think one of the problems is that I am running Cadworx Plant 2006 with AutoCAD 2002! Is there a way to make the centerlines visible and keep the silhouettes of the pipes using AutoCAD or Cadworx? Right now I just use the hide option within the "mview" command and then basically trace over top of the centerlines in paper space. For the life of me I can't find a way to display the centerlines whenever I plot my drawings.īe it in model space of paper space, whenever I "hide" the 2D wire frame of a section of pipe it will never print the centerlines because it's basically underneath the visible portion of the pipe when looking at it from the plan view. I work in an environment that requires me to develop piping plans from an overall model. Mods can you please edit or move this to somewhere it will garner the most attention? I've learned a lot from this form. There has got to be an AutoCAD way of doing this! I posted this in another forum so just filter out the stuff that doesn't apply.
